Bob Marley baby hat
My friend said that she loved baby hats and wanted to always keep her daughter in a hat when small. Great news for me, I love baby hats. I love sweet hats, silly hats and cute hats. This is the Bob Marley baby hat from Susan Anderson.

Monster Romper
I altered another pattern to make it stripped and then created my own dancing monster as the decoration on the front.
Monster Family
Here are monster portraits embroidered into wall art for my friend’s nursery. Three monsters, Ma, Da and baby me.
Monster swings
The friend I was knitting for agreed that Rebecca Danger’s monster swings were really cute, so I made 3 for the baby’s room.
Place mat bags
Do you remember when I found these place mats? Four of them make a great tote bag, and use belts for the handles and you have an upcycled bag made of 99% reused materials. Save the belt findings to make great bag closures.
Total cost for the two bags: $4.30
Brownie Cake
Today is my beloved’s birthday. He loves brownies so this year I made a round white cake (2 layers) and then made brownies in a round cake pan. I put a thin layer of frosting between the layers and the brownie became the middle layer. I did not frost the sides, because I wanted to go light on the frosting. It was not an even cake, but it is tasty!
